This was a piece where I was chasing a very particular fragile “feeling,” and I’m so heartened that a simple sketch turned into a journey of feathers…

It’s a flavor of fan art of Marvel’s Sam Wilson (hence the “falcon” wings), but I wanted to chase a more personal, private moment. The sort of moment where we step away from the expectations of others, and give ourselves permission to really *feel.*
